I got a niece whose birthday is today. I'm about 99.8% sure she can't read this currently, and I'm about 99.9% sure that if she can she can't currently comprehend it. That doesn't mean that I ain't gonna shout her out and tell her I love her and how happy I am that she exists. She had some health scares recently that worried me, especially with the physical distance between us. I haven't seen her since before she could walk, now she walks, talks and has a catch phrase smh time does not stop moving. I know that right now you can't understand these words, but it's my hope that they still exist one day for you to read, even if I no longer do. I feel like we take life for granted sometimes, and we always assume we have more time than we actually do. This is why I take the time to share me with the people who care to listen. Everybody won't and that's fair. Everybody won't get what I'm saying, and that's normal. But to the people who do, and I'm hoping that as you read this later in life you're one of them, I'm hoping that you feel my love reaching across time and space to tell you how much you're loved. Of course I'm gonna tell you today, and every chance I get, but when I no longer can I hope this helps you always remember. You are a shining star in ever way. You light up ever space and every heart you get close to. It's impossible not to love you. It's impossible not to be swallowed up by the beauty of your expressive love. If you ever find yourself feeling alone, misunderstood, or undervalued call me. And if for whatever reason I don't exist anymore for you to call on I hope you read this message and know that I left a piece of me here on your birthday that will forever exist as long as you do.
