This is a special shout out to one of the foundational members of The Survivors Community Benjamin "Ben" Herold. A Journalist @ Education Week Newsletter. The Director and Producer of the First Person Documentary. A soon to be published author. A devoted husband. An invested and loving father, and a loyal son. This small list of accolades is a footnote in the story of who you are and are yet to become. You daily pave a way for myself and many others to grow into who we are and are meant to be. You tell stories. Stories that are so valuable that few people will ever understand their significance, but the people who do will silently (and when possible not so silently) praise you for it. We all Grow Through trying struggles, and you are not exempt from that. Right now you are Growing Through one, and I wish I could be there for you in a more meaningful way, but I am here and I am in your corner until the day the earth reverses it's rotation. Keep pressing on Ben. The world is watching and Growing Through with you. Your struggles are your own to name, or keep private, just know that TSC is here standing with you. Not just because you're a foundational member, but because you deserve it. The world is what it is today because of you and people like you who continuously step forward into the voids that need filling. You are a mentor, a true friend, and above all you are family. Forever and a day is how long you'll be needed in this world. Keep leaving your stamp. Keep progressing your legacy. Keep speaking your truth, because all of it matters more than you know to so many you'll never know. Keep being exactly who you are Ben. You have undying support waiting to do and be called on.
