Day 6 leading to Year 4

"If y'all was capable of getting it, I wouldn't mind explaining
If y'all was capable of getting it, it wouldn't need explaining"

Today is another day to get it right. It doesn't matter if yesterday was the lowest and worst day of your life, today is the day you have to rewrite your story. Today needs to be the day you identify what you value. What makes you happy? When you answer that question pursue it. Life is too short to dwell on the things that aren't worth carrying around. Life is always in flux, and it's struggles are unavoidable. Walk into today prepared for anything, but moving in the direction of your happiness. Being a survivor is more than just existing, it's also choosing to be a participant. You have a say so in what happens to you. You have a say so in how hard you fight. You have a say so in what you choose to fight for. Today is the best day, because its the only day that exist. Live in it fully, proudly, and unapologetically. Yesterday only matters how far you're willing to carry it. Just like last week. Last month, and last year. There's a saying that says something like this "Being angry is like choosing to drink poison and hoping it makes the other person sick." Don't block your view of today by carrying around distractions from yesterday. You have come a very long way since yesterday. You have overcome obstacles that have made you stronger. You have grown mentally and emotionally, and you will continue to do so. Getting through a day isn't easy. It takes a lot of energy. It takes energy to do, and it takes energy to rest. It takes energy to endure. It also takes energy to be happy. You choose where you invest your energy. You choose what's worth holding on to and what's worth letting go. You matter too. Making the choice to ChooseYou isn't selfish, it's caring. You need to care for you as well as you care for others. Today is the best day to start. Keep journeying. Keep striving. Keep surviving. Look into a mirror & love the 1st thing you see.
