Today is a day that I am happy to see. I am happy to be here & happy to be a witness to the beauty of another day of life for my wife Fatimah. 4 years ago today you chose to love you a different way. You chose to stare in the face of who you were & make a conscious decision to be someone different. You chose to live when you knew you had the power to also choose not to. The choice you made has brought joy to my life. The choice you made has led to growth that is visible & will continue to be so for years & years to come. Some won't comprehend the impact of the choice you made until much more of this story of life we're living is written, but some of us see it clearly already. Thank you for fighting for who you are today. Thank you for continuing to exist in a world that hasn't gotten easier for you. Your mind is incredible & your will beyond impressive. Thank you for being the focal point that you are. Thank you for saying to the world it's okay to be broken. It's okay to not know who you are. Its okay to take a chance at regaining life after so much of it has sucked. Thank you for being a living testament of the age old message "If I can do it, you can too." Nobody will ever appreciate you like you deserve to be appreciated, because no one but you will ever fully grasp the pain you endure, survive & live through even to this day. Just because you chose to be reborn out of your addiction doesn't mean that your pain has gone away. Truthfully it's increased. The change is in how you choose to face it everyday, & you face it more bravely than I've ever witnessed someone face life. Thank you for choosing to stay. Thank you for the choice to ChooseYou. Thank you for carrying TSC as you do & building us up without reward. Thank you from me for loving me especially when I don't deserve it. Your choice to live saves lives daily. Happy ReBirth Day!
